Communications Specialist for Pediatric and Adult Care

About the Role:

Nava Healthcare Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Communications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
  • Provide therapy services in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques to improve functional outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment sessions.
  • Stay updated on advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain CCC-SLP.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Florida.
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care and advocacy for patients.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
