  • Measures and records vital signs appropriately based on patient age and visit purpose.
  • Assists healthcare providers with laboratory orders and procedural requests.
  • Performs comprehensive chart reviews before patient visits, identifying outstanding lab results and clinical documents.
  • Ensures cleanliness of examination rooms between patient visits, following best practice guidelines.
  • Manages medical supplies in examination areas, monitoring for expired items.
  • Collaborates with the patient's care team to enhance patient care, communicating with external entities such as pharmacies and community organizations.
  • Works alongside a multidisciplinary team to facilitate timely access to care for patients.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Active Medical Assistant Certification.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a medical assistant role within a physician's office is preferred.
