KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary responsibilities associated with this role encompass, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Efficiently processes customer transactions in a prompt, courteous, and amiable manner by retrieving products from a designated pick list. Employs a handheld scanning device (RF) to select items from the sales area. Utilizes the handheld scanner (RF) to confirm product accuracy. Constructs boxes, shrink wraps shipments, and transfers products from the sales area to the staging zone.
  • Identifies and communicates any issues related to inventory or equipment, including reporting expired or near-expiry items on the pick list.
  • Coordinates with the team to ensure timely replenishment of merchandise.
  • Guarantees that all orders are processed promptly to meet operational timelines.
  • Collaborates with the team to retrieve products from the reserve section when feasible, to minimize the need for sales floor restocking.
  • Ensures all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner to adhere to productivity standards.
  • Secures and wraps merchandise to pallets prior to shipment. Clearly marks pallets with necessary information.
  • Generates staging tickets, packing slips, shipping labels, and other pertinent documentation.
  • Packages orders securely in accordance with established operational protocols.
  • Supervises the collection of packages by the shipping carrier.
  • Requests supplies for the department as needed.
  • Undertakes additional tasks as assigned, which may include assisting in other departments as required.
  • Maintains regular, predictable attendance as a fundamental aspect of this position.
