Diagnostic Imaging Opportunities

As an MRI Technologist, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with radiologists, referring offices, and other associates to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and care.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision or repeats
* Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination
* Prepare patients for MRI procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal scanning
* Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed
* Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS)
* Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers

**Department Support:**

* Maintain equipment in good working order, cleaning and disinfecting after each use
* Assist with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades
* Monitor medical supply inventory
* Assist with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise
