Position Summary
The Systems Operations Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the core IT functions at Kintegra Health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Server Management
- Oversee server infrastructure and ensure regular backups are conducted.
- Coordinate with vendors for the installation and maintenance of Windows-based applications on servers.
- Upgrade or replace server infrastructure as it reaches the end of its lifecycle.
- Manage remote access and application deployment, including RDP and Parallels.
- Maintain and troubleshoot a Hybrid Active Directory environment.
- Support the DevOps team with Linux server management.
- Network Administration
- Monitor network infrastructure and handle trouble tickets with vendors as necessary.
- Manage and troubleshoot wireless networks, aiding in their consolidation.
- Assist in enhancing network documentation and planning for future expansions.
- Cloud and Application Support
- Assist in managing Office365 and Azure environments.
- Support the management of cloud security solutions.
- Oversee the JIRA instance.
- Collaborate with Information Security and DevOps teams on cloud infrastructure projects, including SSO and MFA.
- Service Desk Support
- Assist in building and testing computer deployments using InTune.
- Provide advanced support for escalated issues related to server, network, and cloud infrastructure.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to support staff during the implementation of new systems.
Performance Expectations:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Manual dexterity and physical coordination.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding English.
- Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with all personnel levels.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Three to five years of experience in systems administration or enterprise-level IT support, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with Windows desktop and Server OS, as well as MS Office.
- Experience with VMWare, VEEAM, and related system administration tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, including user account management and email systems.
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Additional Skills:
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows and Server Administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Administration.
- Familiarity with VMWare and Veeam.
- Knowledge of desktop hardware and printers.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong sense of urgency and project management skills.
Educational Requirements: Associate's degree in Information Technology or relevant IT certifications.
Experience Required: Preferred 4+ years of work experience.
Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft MCP certifications are preferred.
