RTG Medical-Allied is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a 13-week contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine imaging and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using various modalities, including PET, SPECT, and planar imaging
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable imaging results
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest nuclear medicine technologies and techniques
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine imaging
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine principles, instrumentation, and imaging protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
