Ray & Son Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Commercial Field Supervisor to oversee our operations.
Position Summary: This role is responsible for leading and participating in the installation operations for the company, specifically in the commercial sector. The supervisor will build and enhance the installation team, processes, and protocols to align with the company's strategic goals while focusing on improving safety, quality, cost efficiency, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction.
Compensation: $65k - 75k annually
Benefits Include: Medical (with optional Dental and Vision), Paid vacation, Paid Holidays, 401k with company match, Cell Phone, Company Uniform, company iPad, and Vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to establish and implement the installation standards for Ray & Son.
- Conduct independent estimates after project handover to understand the project scope and identify budget discrepancies or opportunities.
- Coordinate with other trades prior to layout execution for Ray & Son personnel.
- Propose strategies to mitigate negative discrepancies and enhance positive opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications and plans.
- Maintain a Daily Log documenting job progress, issues, discrepancies, and necessary changes.
- Develop efficient plans and schedules for project completion, optimizing resource utilization.
- Pre-plan and coordinate with the Project Manager regarding material and equipment needs.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 successful experiences in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and their functionalities.
- Experience in project management and familiarity with the construction industry.
- Proficient in basic mathematical concepts and conversions.
- Able to read and interpret plans, schematics, and diagrams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a strong desire for success.
Note: Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening upon receiving a conditional employment offer.
