The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cable and network installation, with experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining various cable equipment, peripherals, and data communication equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain cable equipment, peripherals, and data communication equipment.
- Assemble, install, configure, and test all types of cable equipment.
- Complete work orders, including installing equipment, connecting and moving devices, and troubleshooting wires not providing signal to equipment.
- Use various types of test equipment and tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Install cabling for phone, internet, WAP, and television systems, and perform moves, adds, deletes, and other changes for phone, internet, and cable television users.
Requirements
- Strong background in cable and network installation.
- Experience with various types of cable equipment, peripherals, and data communication equipment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a professional and safe work environment. The employee must be available during regular work hours and must work up to 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as occasional job duties demand.
Travel between job sites may be expected for this position as occasional job duties demand.
