About the Position

We are seeking a skilled ITS Technician to join our team at Eland Engineering, a GAI Consultants company. The ideal candidate will have experience with fiber optic cable installation and splicing, electronics repair and maintenance, and basic computer and networking skills.

This is a full-time position based in Seminole County (Sanford), Florida, with opportunities for overtime and on-call work. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to install, maintain, and troubleshoot ITS/Traffic product(s).

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform on-site or in-house servicing, repair, and/or installation of ITS/Traffic product(s).
  • Document work for projects and maintain compliance standards and plans.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to the team.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma (required)
  • Experience: 2 - 10 years: Experience with fiber optic cable installation and splicing (required)
  • Skills: Electronics repair and maintenance, basic computer and networking skills, and hands-on experience with fiber optic systems and ITS field devices.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of $62,000-$72,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, long-term disability insurance, 401K retirement plan, life insurance, paid holidays, PTO accrual, applicable continued education programs, certifications, and professional license fees.
