About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Department at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our young patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and competent nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate plans of care utilizing the nursing process, clinical skills, and patient education.
  • Assess risks to patient safety and implement appropriate precautions.
  • Comply with safety and injury prevention standards to minimize risk to self, co-workers, patients, and visitors.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • Current state nursing license or permit to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
  • PALS certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Chemotherapy class within 12 months of hire.
