Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, utilizing MRI equipment and your knowledge of anatomy/patient positioning for optimum imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols.
  • Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper film identification.
  • Evaluate quality of MRI procedure and determine if additional imaging is required, prior to communicating procedure information to radiologist.
  • Participate in on-call duties as assigned to meet department needs.
Requirements
  • Two years' experience in the field of Radiologic Technology to support on-the-job training or one-year experience as MRI technologist.
  • ARRT-MR or ARMRIT Registered.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Two years' experience as MRI technologist in a hospital environment preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or accredited MRI program preferred.
