CT Technologist Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in capturing high-quality diagnostic images that aid our radiologists in accurately diagnosing and ruling out various conditions.

About the Position

As a member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic procedures, including computed axial tomography, magnetic resonance, interventional radiology, mammography, sonography, ultrasound, and/or nuclear medicine and PET. You will work closely with patients, applying sterile techniques and quality safety practices to ensure a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and other modalities, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the general imaging workflow, patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.
  • Work directly with patients, applying sterile techniques and quality safety practices to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of current experience performing CT and Radiographic procedures.
  • Graduate of a 2-year accredited school of Radiology Technology.
  • Hold and maintain AZ DHS Bureau of Special Licensing certifications, including CRT and CTCT.
  • Hold and maintain national American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.
