Healthcare Support Specialist

Nursing Assistants work under the supervision of Registered Nurses in various healthcare settings, providing personal care and support to patients. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
The ideal candidate will have a current Rhode Island license as a Nursing Assistant and be able to perform basic computer skills. Experience as a Nursing Assistant is preferred, but not required. The selected individual will be responsible for assisting with patient care, maintaining a safe environment, and reporting any concerns or issues to the Registered Nurse. They will also participate in education and training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities:
Assist with patient care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
Maintain patient records and report any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care
Participate in infection control and safety initiatives
Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
Current Rhode Island license as a Nursing Assistant
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Ability to perform basic computer skills
Certified in American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
Experience as a Nursing Assistant preferred
Estimated Salary: $38,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
