As an Internal Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in assisting and overseeing staff, while maintaining the execution of audits of operational, financial, and clinical functions from start to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist internal auditors with day-to-day duties, including reviewing and analyzing evidence, creating process narratives and documents, and composing summary memos.
  • Perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, and reviewing and analyzing evidence.
  • Prepare working papers, conduct interviews, review documents, and communicate the results of projects via written reports and oral presentations to management.
  • Follow up on audit findings to ensure corrective action is implemented.
  • Identify and document issues and recommendations using independent judgment.
  • Communicate the results of projects via written reports and oral presentations to management, and provide regular progress reports of overall audit to management.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of internal audit management experience.
  • Experience managing audit projects (5 or 6 at a time).
  • Familiarity with retrieving work papers and setting up audits/templates.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, or Business Administration.
  • 3+ years of internal audit experience (preferably within healthcare).
  • Familiarity with computer-assisted audit software (Visio, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to handle concurrent audits with varying details and deadlines.
  • Certified, or pursuing certification (CIA, CHIAP, CFE, CISA, CPA).
