Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures, handling instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Perform patient care duties, including vital sign monitoring, positioning, and preparing patients for surgery, under the direction of a registered nurse.
  • Participate in the maintenance of a clean and organized operating room environment, adhering to infection control protocols and standards.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of surgical equipment, including robotic systems and other advanced technology.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent required; graduation from a Surgical Technology program or prior experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
  • BLS Certification required; graduate of a Surgical Technology Program preferred.
