We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team at Milford Mining Company.

Job Summary

The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing all tasks involved in the testing and sampling of our raw materials and products, resulting in copper, silver, and gold production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an efficient and effective testing and sampling station
  • Listen, understand, and provide feedback to the lab manager
  • Run heavy equipment as required (forklift)
  • Perform assay testing and sampling
  • Recommend efficiencies in lab operations
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Practice good housekeeping
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Previous production or lab experience
Work Environment

The Lab Technician will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Regularly required to talk or hear
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms
  • Periodically lifting 10 pounds or more
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, with hours of work and days varying but typically 7 on, 7 off, Thursday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7:00 AM.

Overtime may be required.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.
