Role Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth patient visits by preparing necessary documentation and equipment. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing for patient appointments by organizing charts and relevant notes.
- Providing routine assistance alongside nursing staff.
- Managing lab results and ensuring timely communication with patients regarding their health status.
- Scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.
- Gathering and documenting patient medical histories and vital signs.
- Conducting basic clinical tests, such as blood pressure and weight measurements.
- Maintaining inventory of medical supplies and ensuring cleanliness of clinical areas.
Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment areas for patient examinations and clean them post-visit.
- Assist healthcare providers during medical procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, managing patient records, and scheduling appointments.
- Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in the administration of daily operations within the department.
Qualifications
- Certification in CPR and BLS or as a Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Physical Requirements
