Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical and emotional care to our residents and patients. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to ensure the needs of our residents are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Assist with daily operations of the unit, including maintaining a clean and safe environment, and responding to emergencies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
