LPN-LTC Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. As a LPN-LTC, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with the Registered Nurse and Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities on a per-shift basis, ensuring the smooth operation of the unit and providing guidance to colleagues as needed.
  • Utilize basic physical assessment skills and a general understanding of nursing principles to provide comprehensive care to residents.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or equivalent.
  • Current license for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine.
