Responsibilities- Conduct patient-centered histories and obtain initial physical data, including vital signs and weight.
- Utilize evidence-based ambulatory care nursing interventions during clinical visits, telephone encounters, and electronic communications.
- Administer medications and immunizations according to hospital policy and procedure.
- Collect specimens and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
- Monitor and troubleshoot temperature tracking systems and equipment.
- Oversee supply and equipment ordering, coordinate equipment kits for procedures, and assist with procedures.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care.
- Document patient information and communicate with the healthcare team.
- Graduation from an accredited licensed practical school of nursing.
- MA LPN licensure required.
- Maintains current Basic Life Support certification.
- Knowledge of a second language preferred.
