The Reserve on Bayou DeSaird, a premier Apartment Community in Monroe, Louisiana, is in search of a dedicated full-time Maintenance Technician.


The Maintenance Technician role is crucial for ensuring the physical condition of the community is upheld at all times. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant maintenance experience, which includes but is not limited to plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, and carpentry. Availability on weekends and participation in a rotating on-call schedule is essential.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare vacant units for new residents
  • Complete assigned work orders for repairs and enhancements
  • Conduct appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical tasks, HVAC work, carpentry, and maintenance of locks and drywall
  • Inspect properties and vacant units
  • Utilize basic hand tools and power tools effectively
  • Assist in organizing and securing parts and storage areas
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in apartment or multi-family settings
  • A minimum of 2 years of specific maintenance experience
  • Customer service focused
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
