Key Responsibilities
  • Teach all assigned classes and laboratory activities in a professional manner, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of plumbing principles and practices.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required, with a valid Plumbers License.
  • One (1) year of recent, related paid work experience in the plumbing industry.
  • Strong teaching and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and staff.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and hazardous material requirements, with the ability to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment.
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for coverage under the college's auto insurance plan.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in teaching or training in a post-secondary setting.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and applications, including blueprint reading and tool safety.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on student success and satisfaction.
