Job Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant

Alternate Solutions Health Network LLC is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality care to our patients in a home-based setting. As an OTA, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services as ordered by the attending physician, including assessments, interventions, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the occupational therapist to develop and implement plans of care, ensuring patient goals are met and exceeded.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to agency protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one year of experience as an OTA in an acute care setting, with home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
