Aaron's is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering merchandise to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and Securing Merchandise: Load, secure, and protect merchandise for delivery to customers.
- Installation and Demonstration: Offload, install, and demonstrate merchandise to customers.
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate delivery vehicle to ensure timely and efficient delivery of merchandise.
- Store Support: Assist in store when needed to support sales and customer service efforts.
Requirements:
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old (in Canada)
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- DOT Certification: Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.)
- Physical Demands: Able to perform physical job including lifting up to 50 lbs. without help and 300 lbs. with a dolly
- Weather Conditions: Able to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain or summer sun
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required, but not a CDL
- Travel: No overnight travel required
