At Advanced Tech Placement, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical advisory services, resolving business systems problems, and identifying potential improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with our clients to understand their unique challenges and goals as it relates to a specific business capability.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and process mapping workshops to effectively elicit, identify, and document business requirements.
  • Document functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases to ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology capability roadmap that aligns with our clients' objectives.
  • Lead the evaluation and recommendation of advanced technologies, tools, and methodologies to address our clients' specific challenges for a business process or system.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and external service providers to secure the most suitable resources and services.
  • Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, process design and development tasks as required in support of current and new projects.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, functional teams, clients, and vendors to drive implementations.
  • Perform gap analysis: as-is vs to-be to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess the risks of various solutions to ensure the best possible outcome.
  • Clearly articulate the impact of business problems and benefits using business language to ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field.
  • 8+ years of IT experience in large or mid-size multinational company.
  • 3+ years architecture/technical/functional/configuration experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with business leads, understand business strategy/processes, look for innovative solutions to drive business enhancements both for internal business users and external customers.
  • Strong influence and negotiating skills.
  • Experience leading business relationships and integration.
