Job Overview:
The Construction Manager will oversee the execution of construction projects, ensuring compliance with timelines, safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and customer satisfaction throughout the building process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and validate project schedules and adherence to timelines.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance planning processes, including vendor performance feedback and quality assessments.
  • Manage customer interactions throughout the construction phase until project completion.
  • Work closely with trade partners to elevate quality and efficiency in construction.
  • Foster trust-based relationships with homeowners through transparent communication.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to manage neighborhood activities and customer referrals.
  • Ensure job sites comply with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Address and resolve conflicts related to daily construction operations.
  • Authorize payments for materials and completed work.
  • Ensure timely completion of trade partner tasks while maintaining quality standards.
  • Collaborate with departments on process improvements and resource planning.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure workmanship meets company standards.

Position Scope:

  • Physical Requirements: The role involves sitting, standing, and movement, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Must be capable of climbing ladders and scaffolding to access all areas of construction.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions.

Management Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in Construction or Engineering preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License is essential for this role.

Experience Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of construction experience or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year in a Field Manager II role or similar.
  • Proven ability to manage construction processes in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong skills in managing trade performance and controlling budget overruns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding municipal regulations.
  • Familiarity with building codes and construction-related software.
  • Basic computer skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Compensation:
Salary range: $67,000 - $83,800 per year, with eligibility for incentives.
