Job Overview

BWS Industries is seeking an experienced Ironworker Welder to join our Steel Erection Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the installation of structural steel components, ensuring project accuracy and efficiency, and overseeing repairs and renovations on existing structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of structural steel components, including columns, beams, girders, joists, bridging, and metal decking.
  • Lead a team in executing the erection and assembly of steel frameworks for buildings and structures.
  • Interpret specifications, blueprints, and technical documentation to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control measures, and project timelines.
  • Manage repairs and renovations to existing structures as required.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an Ironworker or Welder, with specific expertise in steel erection.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in steel construction.
  • Understanding of safety, quality, and cost control standards within the construction industry.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively on-site.
