Position Overview

The Dewitt Companies is seeking skilled Forklift Operators with a minimum of one year of experience in material handling and warehouse operations. This role is essential for the efficient functioning of our logistics department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct warehouse operations related to the receipt, shipment, storage, and distribution of goods.
  • Manage the assembly, labeling, packing, and organization of products for transportation.
  • Efficiently load and unload items in accordance with delivery documentation or supervisory directives.
  • Utilize forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to sit, stand, crouch, or bend for extended periods.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in warehouse operations and forklift operation.
