Job Summary

Blanchard Equipment Company, Inc is seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our Service Department. As an Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for the set-up and assembly of all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Service Manager and technicians in the efficient operation of the department, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Clean, organize, and maintain the condition of the shop, vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment, adhering to company standards and safety protocols.
  • Assist service technicians as needed, including delivery of parts, and participate in the repair, servicing, and movement of equipment.
  • Accountable for accurate and timely documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs to develop skills and knowledge, enhancing your expertise in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes.
  • Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment required to perform job responsibilities, ensuring their proper functioning and maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion, adhering to company standards and safety protocols.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.

Requirements:

  • Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes.
  • Experience with basic computer functions and ability to learn company-specific software.
  • Experience working cooperatively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license required, with a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred.
  • Fork lift license preferred, but not required.
