1. Follows diet orders and NPO diet orders to ensure accurate and timely meal preparation.

2. Assists the cook in preparing meals, desserts, and snacks for patients, adhering to proper food handling processes and procedures.

3. Delivers trays to patients on the halls and serves meals in the dining area, maintaining a warm and friendly demeanor.

4. Prepares between-meal nourishments, such as sandwiches, and serves in accordance with procedural guidelines.

5. Offers menu substitutions and records them in accordance with procedural guidelines, ensuring patient satisfaction and dietary needs are met.

6. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff, providing a helpful and caring attitude, and responding to expressed concerns in a professional manner.

Requirements:
