Job Title: Shop Service Technician

Our business locations are in Zeeland, Wixom, Gaylord, and Marquette Michigan, but we have representatives all around the state ready to serve your power generation needs. We believe in work-life balance and offer benefits that start on day 1.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues in an efficient manner.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on rental fleet equipment.
  • Load Bank maintenance and repair up to 2 meg.
  • Communicate with Dispatch throughout the day regarding updates and next assignments.
  • Work cohesively with internal and external customers to ensure complete satisfaction with time and service.
  • Train and educate customers on equipment use and product value.
  • Load and unload equipment.
  • Refill gasoline, oil, and other liquids for Field Service Technicians as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop area and building grounds.
  • Maintain cleanliness and preparation of shop vehicles and trailers.
  • Attend factory training on equipment and obtain successful completion of factory certification.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, expenses, and billable hours.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • 2+ years of experience in repair, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of generators, engines, or related equipment; experience with Generac, Cummins, Onan, Kohler, and/or Cat preferred.
