We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Clinical Nurse IV Team Leader to join our team at UNC Medical Center. As a key member of our Children's Services team, you will be responsible for coordinating quality efforts, collaborating with inpatient leaders, and leading Root Cause Analysis and Learning From Defects events.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate quality efforts for Children's Services, including developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with inpatient leaders to set goals and priorities for quality improvement, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Lead and facilitate Root Cause Analysis and Learning From Defects events for Children's Services, identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
- Administer the Children's Strategy Deployment Plan, ensuring effective implementation and monitoring of progress.
- Communicate quality information to stakeholders, including administrators, physicians, managers, frontline staff, patients, and families, using multiple modalities.
- Coordinate efforts to implement evidence-based hospital-acquired condition prevention bundles and submit data to Solutions for Patient Safety.
- Lead and facilitate performance improvement activities as a quality coach, working with clinical leadership and frontline staff to improve clinical operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Professional certification relevant to the practice area and on the ANCC Magnet approved list within the probationary period of employment.
- Eighteen (18) months of professional nursing experience in a tertiary care setting, including didactic and clinical experience in the area of assignment, preferably with charge and precepting experience.
