Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Gladstone School District #115. As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff, ensuring a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff
  • Operate kitchen equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Work cooperatively with district personnel to ensure a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the head cook
Requirements
  • Must possess some knowledge in food preparation, kitchen maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation
  • Must be able to operate kitchen equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Must be knowledgeable of standard safety practices and able to work cooperatively with all district personnel and students
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to perform physical requirements of the job
