Job Summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry is expanding its presence in the Tri-Cities area and seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the new office as a Senior Project Manager and Branch Office Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Oversee professional engineering and surveying services, including QA/QC reviews and final deliverables.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Interview and hire staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Network with clients, agency personnel, and industry partners to maintain professional alliances and promote the company's services.
  • Develop and manage office budgets, reports, and workload planning, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Oregon or Washington.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in civil engineering project management, with a strong track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project management software.
