Salary

The salary range for this position is $30-$35 per hour.

Job Summary

The Family Advocacy and Community Engagement Coordinator plays a critical role in serving families and children in the Head Start program. The coordinator plans and implements family engagement activities, supports families in meeting basic needs, and sets goals for personal and family growth.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide information, referral, and coordinating efforts to link staff and families with appropriate childcare and family support resources.
  2. Collaborate with state and community partners for recruitment to enhance family services.
  3. Coordinate transition events with Transition Supervisor and internal/external partners.
  4. Plan special recruitment events or activities.
  5. Assist department FACE Director with the planning, implementation, and organization of the Child Development Resource & Referral program.
  6. Input, update, and maintain data entry and collection through the utilization of the Resource & Referral software database.
