Salary and Benefits

We offer competitive rates, based on experience, ranging from $55 to $65+ per hour. Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Child Development Specialist - Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals who make a daily difference in the lives of young children by providing home-based Early Intervention services. As a Speech Therapist, you will conduct developmental assessments, provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model, follow each child's Individualized Family Service Plan, and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy services utilizing the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon)
  • Follow each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their specific developmental goals
  • Utilize the family-centered parent coaching approach to build caregivers' confidence and skills and to ensure that progress is generalized
  • Provide services in the child's natural environment, in families' homes, daycare centers, and/or other community settings; virtual services also currently available
  • Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual)
Requirements
  • California Speech Language Pathology license
  • Pediatric experience required (Early Intervention experience preferred)
  • Home-based service delivery experience preferred
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
