Join Our Team as a Specialty Sales Associate

Hudson, North America's leading travel retailer, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Specialty Sales Associate to join our team at the Chicago O'Hare International Airport.

About the Role

As a Specialty Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining adequate stock levels, and maximizing sales through efficient product deliveries and restocking. You will also be expected to work a full-time schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings on weekdays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Know individual and store sales targets for every working shift.
  • Engage customers on the selling floor with a focus on customer service.
  • Maintain high energy and a professional manner at all times.
  • Resolve customer problems and exceed expectations in-store.
  • Service multiple customers using outstanding customer service standards.
  • Be responsible for name capture, customer relationships, and after-sales service.
  • Maintain the store environment, store organization, visual display, and store sets.
  • Keep inventory organization and integrity in transactions while displaying all current merchandise at all times.
  • Effectively operate a cash register.
  • Know the basic store layout to assist customers in their selection of products and be able to answer customer questions about the entire store.
  • Be knowledgeable and familiar with the surrounding businesses/offerings within the facility.
  • Communicate pricing, out-of-date, and inventory issues with management.
  • Help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, which includes sweeping, dusting, and straightening merchandise on store fixtures and displays.
  • Assist with the book inventory process (i.e., ordering, receiving, returns).
  • Perform related work as assigned.
Requirements
  • Comply with company dress code.

  • Ability to lift at least 40lbs.
  • Execute 5 customer service standards at all times:
    • Greet the customer.
    • Offer assistance to each and every customer.
    • Ask lifestyle questions to suggest appropriate products.
    • Provide quick and accurate service.
    • Thank the customer each and every time.
  • Minimum 2 years retail experience (high fashion and electronics experience preferred).
