Job Summary

This is a part-time security position at TTCU, responsible for ensuring a safe environment for employees and visitors. The successful candidate will provide a visible security presence, monitor activity, and respond to incidents as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor all visitors' activities and provide a visible security presence to deter or halt any harmful or criminal activity.
  • Assist with various functions to support credit union security, including detaining suspects, maintaining a clean environment, and providing assistance to employees or members.
  • Unlock and secure buildings, assist with the movement of currency, and provide rotational support in the management of the office reception area.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greet and direct visitors, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET) Armed Security Guard license required.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • 5 years of experience in security-related work, with advanced skills.
  • Police Academy and/or Military training preferred.

Working Conditions

This role requires working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The successful candidate must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision, work effectively as part of a team, and maintain a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
