We will equip you with knowledge in Employment Law, contractual obligations, and claims management. You will collaborate with defense attorneys and our clients to resolve matters related to discrimination, harassment, and other employment-related issues.

Our Claims Professionals in Employment Practices Liability find fulfillment in their roles and enjoy collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, including law enforcement, human resources, and various legal disciplines, each contributing unique insights to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a collaborative environment by sharing innovative ideas, demonstrating teamwork, and maintaining a high level of motivation and positive conduct to achieve organizational goals.
- Conduct thorough and timely investigations into coverage, liability, and damages.
- Develop, document, and implement effective strategies for the prompt and economical resolution of assigned claims.
- Represent the organization in meetings with management and business partners, as well as during virtual mediations.
- Utilize technology and systems efficiently to manage and track your caseload.
- Establish and nurture productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including clients, underwriters, and agents.
- Exhibit sound claims handling practices by ensuring compliance in investigation, coverage, loss assessment, and case management.
- Preferred: College Degree. A Juris Doctor degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in handling complex claims or working in a legal capacity.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- A strong commitment to delivering superior performance that enhances our organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with all levels of internal and external contacts.
- Adept at evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting technical information.
- Sound decision-making capabilities.
- Proven ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated initiative and leadership qualities.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to adapt to new concepts and circumstances.

- Internal pre-litigation candidates must possess authority for administrative charges and demand letters.
Licensing: Candidates must obtain and maintain the necessary adjuster licenses within the specified timeframe post-hire.
Training: Comprehensive training will be provided by Chubb managers, claim examiners, and defense counsel, encompassing both classroom instruction and practical experience to prepare our Claim Examiners for full claim handling responsibilities. This training will cover a wide array of knowledge and skill development, including:
- Building relationships with internal clients (e.g., underwriters).
- Gaining proficiency in analyzing initial claim reports.
- Understanding the legal framework.
- Mastering effective investigation and documentation techniques.
- Comprehending Chubb's product offerings to accurately assess coverage.
- Learning to interpret and apply insurance contracts.
- Developing negotiation skills for settlements.
