Staff Registered Nurse RN PCU Progressive Care Unit

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to provide high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit PCU.
Job Summary:As a Registered Nurse RN in the Progressive Care Unit PCU, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care to individuals with complex medical needs. Your expertise will include conducting thorough clinical assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed clinical assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
- Provide high-quality patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely and effective care transitions
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current and valid nursing license
- Basic Life Support BLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
