Position Overview:
The Operations Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in facilitating the daily functions of the donor center, ensuring that production targets are achieved, donor loyalty is maintained, and operational standards are upheld.
Key Duties:
- Supervise all operational facets of the donor center in the absence of the Center Manager.
- Achieve proficiency in all segments of the donor collection process.
- Guarantee adherence to all applicable federal, state, local, and organizational regulations concerning product quality, donor safety, and employee welfare.
- Collaborate with center leadership to formulate strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
- Manage all personnel-related functions, including recruitment, task delegation, staff development, disciplinary measures, terminations, and record-keeping.
- Adjust inventory levels of necessary goods and supplies for the donor center's operations.
- Compile and submit accurate reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Work alongside the training department to ensure staff training is effectively conducted and training objectives are achieved.
- Design and implement donor recruitment marketing campaigns to boost production levels.
- Foster talent development within the donor center and assist in the recruitment of new personnel.
- Provide constructive feedback on performance and initiate disciplinary actions when warranted.
- Assess and review the performance of center staff.
- Oversee and direct the performance of external vendors.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge and compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
- Ensure open lines of communication with management.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center-related information.
- Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor in interactions with donors, employees, and vendors.
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience, including one (1) year in a supervisory capacity, preferably within a regulated industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Science or Business Management preferred.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- Exceptional hiring and interviewing skills.
- Production-oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly organized with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines efficiently.
