Job Description
We offer clients a full spectrum of water services, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As a summer 2025 engineering student intern with our Water Resources team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career.
Responsibilities
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control management, floodplain management, scour and erosion control, watershed management planning, and groundwater modeling.
- Provide project design utilizing AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS/ArcMap, and various modeling software.
- Assist with performing technical analysis, preparing construction documents, performing research, and writing technical reports.
- Depending on the projects, you may also have the opportunity to travel to job sites for field observation.
Qualifications
- You are passionate about working collaboratively with others, having ownership in the work you do, and using your talents to positively affect communities.
- You bring to the team strong communication skills, ability to contribute and work well on a team, pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (civil engineering or relatable), working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS preferred, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving and decision-making skills.
