Ameritas Investment Partners is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer Intern to contribute to the development and operation of our Investment Data & Analytics ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and configure data flows from automation to automated quality checks
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, etc.
  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data for consumption by portfolio managers and analysts
  • Work with the team to develop scalable, extensible solution architectures leveraging contemporary technologies in an evolving operational framework
  • Participate in and help guide research POCs, including design, coding, and performance and efficacy measurement
Requirements
  • Actively enrolled at a college or university at least part-time for the entire duration of the internship and studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or another related field
  • Able to commit to a full year of work - part-time (PT) during the academic school year and full-time (FT) during the summer
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.25
  • Proficient statistical background strongly preferred but not required
