Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team at Booz Allen. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for establishing and managing data access and support practices for a specific database technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database.
  • Use technology and tools like MS SQL and PostgreSQL to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical database.
  • Provide technical expertise to clients to ensure the effective management and security of their databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement database solutions that meet client needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in information technology.
  • 2+ years of experience in MS SQL.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to obtain Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification within two months of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience with PostgreSQL databases.
  • Experience in cloud-based database solutions.
  • Experience in non-relational databases.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure.
Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
