We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Regional Women's Health Group, LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for performing physical examinations, conferring with patients, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. You will also be involved in the coordination of patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform physical examinations and assessments of patients, including history taking and physical examination consistent with department protocol.
- Conduct age-appropriate assessments of patients, including history taking and physical examination consistent with department protocol.
- Consult with supervising physician or other clinicians as dictated by patient need and assessment findings.
- Participate with physicians and other clinicians in the department to assure effective patient care consistent with quality indicators for patients cared for in the designated service.
- Reviews medical record for follow up or ordering of diagnostic studies under established protocols.
- Establishes effective working relationships with members of the health care team, patients, and families.
- Active, unrestricted New Jersey Physician Assistant or APN license, NJ CDS, and DEA.
- WHNP Board Certification from NCC, FNP Board Certification from ANCC, or Physician Assistant Certification from NCCPA.
- Experience as an advanced practice provider in Women's Health required. Experience to exclude clinical education. Must be experienced in Ob & Gyn.
- Experience performing IUD, Nexplanon, Endometrial Biopsies, Certification in and experience performing Colposcopies highly preferred.
