Position Overview:
A Clinical Nursing Supervisor is a licensed professional responsible for delivering both direct and indirect patient care services in alignment with a physician's care plan and adhering to the policies and procedures of Option Care Health, as well as state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee comprehensive patient assessments and care planning, ensuring effective patient and caregiver education.
  • Evaluate patient progress and recommend necessary adjustments to care plans.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Maintain clinical competency by delivering direct patient care 20-40% of the time.
  • Act as the alternate administrator or director of nursing in Medicare Certified Home Health agencies when required.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse with a valid license in the state of practice and a minimum of one year of supervisory experience, or three years of relevant nursing experience with demonstrated progression.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Membership in a state or national professional nursing organization.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Professional certification such as CRNI.
  • Experience in supervisory roles within hospital or home health care settings.

Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel for business purposes, including both in-state and out-of-state visits.
