About the Role

Tuscan Dairy Farms, a subsidiary of Dairy Farmers of America, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our facility maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements (both planned and unplanned) on production, packaging, processing equipment, and utility systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production, packaging, and processing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with mechanical equipment to identify and resolve problems
  • Assist in the coordination of inspections and special events with the plant maintenance team
  • Operate power equipment safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in a maintenance or technical role
  • Valid driver's license to operate a company-owned vehicle
  • NJ Boiler License and NJ Refrigeration License required
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug, background, and criminal checks
