Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist performs a variety of respiratory care duties and responsibilities under the supervision of the medical director.

The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of cardiopulmonary physiology and be able to demonstrate this to others.

Responsibilities include performing respiratory care procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as working collaboratively with nursing and physician professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements
  • Licensed with the State of Minnesota as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) by The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Successful completion of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) examination within 1 year of employment
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • PALS, NRP certified or within 6 months of employment
  • Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialty (NPS) certification within 18 months of employment
