Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Client Service Representative to join our team at East Louisville Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to clients and visitors
  • Handle incoming phone calls and emails, determining the urgency and responding accordingly
  • Perform client check-ins and check-outs, reviewing invoices and communicating visit expectations
  • Assist owners with pet management, minimizing stress and unsafe situations
  • Process and document financial transactions accurately
  • Schedule appointments based on client expectations and clinic needs
  • Manage emergency situations and walk-ins
  • Respond to online requests for products, prescriptions, or client questions in a timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness in lobby areas, exam rooms, and client/patient areas
  • Recommend products available to clients through our facilities
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least one year of client service experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team player with patience and a positive attitude
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
