Position Overview

The Project Manager is accountable for overseeing, directing, and coordinating the activities of commercial and industrial construction projects to guarantee timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and compliance with design specifications.

A typical day for the Project Manager involves establishing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, and cost controls by diligently monitoring each facet of project performance. Responsibilities include finalizing subcontracts and purchase orders, reviewing and approving vendor and subcontractor invoices, preparing and processing monthly payment applications, and managing change orders. This role necessitates effective communication and facilitation, ensuring continuous dialogue with clients, design teams, field supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.



Key Responsibilities

Essential Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in a commercial or industrial construction setting.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong client-oriented approach.
  • Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Vista, P6 Scheduling, Timberline estimating, and Procore.
  • A valid state-issued driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
